Who should get Flu vaccine?
Everyone 6 months and older!! Especially those who have weak immune system (young children, seniors, transplant recipients), lung problems (asthmatic patients), diabetic/cardiac problems, ... etc. Yes, even if you are healthy, should STILL get the Flu vaccine, so you won't spread the Flu to the weaker family members
Is Flu vaccine safe for pregnant/breastfeeding mothers?
Yes, it is safe. As a matter of fact, it's highly recommended pregnant/breastfeeding mothers to get the Flu vaccine (see ImmunizeBC https://immunizebc.ca/adults/pregnancy)
Is it free to everyone?
It's free to all BC residents. Non BC residents will need to pay for the Flu vaccines and call www.getvaccinated.gov,bc.ca or call 1-833-838-2323
Covid vaccine availability:
When will the new Covid Vaccines available?
NOW. The new formula Covid vaccines (targeting strain KP.2) of both Spikevax (by Moderna) and Comirnaty (by Pfizer) are available.
