BC省政府現在提供免費的Gardasil-9 (兩劑療程) 給所有小學6年級的女生

Prevnar-20疫苗能提供20種肺炎鏈球菌引起的肺炎、敗血症、腦膜炎等疾病的保護
建議接種Prevnar-20人群包括：50歲以上的人群，或有疾病或嚴重哮喘引起的高風險

PNEUMOVAX®23 (Pneumococcal Vaccine Polyvalent) is a vaccine indicated for active immunization for the prevention of pneumococcal disease caused by the 23 serotypes contained in the vaccine
PNEUMOVAX®23 is offered FREE by BC government to all BC residents 65 years old or above, and those with underlying risk factors

HAVRIX is a vaccine indicated for active immunization against disease caused by hepatitis A virus
A single dose is given, followed by a booster dose given between 6 and 12 months later
Havrix is not covered by BC government

Engerix-B is indicated for active immunization against hepatitis B infection
For adults, it is usually given the first dose, 2nd booster dose after one month, and a 3rd booster given 6 months after the first dose
BC government will provide coverage for Engerix-B under certain circumstances.

Twinrix is a vaccine used in adults, adolescents, children, and infants to prevent hepatitis A and B diseases
It is usually given the first dose, 2nd booster dose after one month, and a 3rd booster given 6 months after the first dose
Twinrix is not covered by BC government

Adacel is indicated for active booster immunization against tetanus, diphtheria, and pertussis. Adacel is approved for use in individuals 10 through 64 years of age.
BC government is offering Adacel FREE to the following populations:
All BC resident one dose every 10 years for tetanus protection
Immunization during the third trimester of pregnancy to prevent pertussis in infants younger than 2 months of age.
Prolia (denosumab injection) is used to treat osteoporosis (thinning and weakening of the bone) in women after menopause, who have an increased risk for fractures or cannot use other osteoporosis medicines, or for whom other osteoporosis medicines did not work well.
Prolia (denosumab injection) is also used to increase bone mass in men with osteoporosis at high risk for fracture.
Prolia is injected subcutaneously once every 6 months
Prolia must be prescribed by a physician
BC government only cover Prolia under certain limited criteria
